Lake Glenbawn Holiday Cottages are only a 3½ hour drive from Sydney or 2 hours from Newcastle. Travelling north along the New England Highway you pass through Singleton and then Muswellbrook. Then as you come into the small town of Aberdeen you turn right (opposite the Commercial Hotel) or bottom pub. Follow the signs to Lake Glenbawn which is approximately 12km's. If you miss this turn or want to continue into Scone to pick up supplies, there is another turn off to the Dam as you enter Scone. (via Gundy Road)

What to bring
- Your linen - sheets, pillow cases, towels, bath mats, tea towels.
- All food and drinks.
- As well as your groceries, bring condiments and everything you will need to cook with ie; salt/pepper, oil, herbs/spices, coffee, tea, sugar ect...
- Don’t forget lemons if you intend on catching plenty of fish.
- Insect repellent, sunscreen and hats.
- Camera and binoculars.
- Fishing gear, tackle, knife, bait.
- Prescription or other medicines.
- A sense of adventure.
